We are backing up some servers with SQL instances which are intentionally excluded from backup in Backup Exec. However daily we receive the alert "Warning: Job Warning: The automated credentials test failed for the following server or servers. Select 'Test All' on the 'Test edit credentials' dialog to view and fix any problems with the credentials."

Changing server FQDN without breaking backup jobs

Hello,
We just renamed our primary domain.
I now have issues with all of the servers in Backup Exec that we used to backup. The FQDN of all of our servers has changed, so BackupExec is treating them all as new servers.
Is there a way we can just change the existing servers to match the new FQDN so we don't lose our job history?

Large Hyper-V incremental backups
I need a solution
I'm currently running backup exec 2014 and backup up (amongst other things) a hyper-v host with 6 VMs. I have a full backup every other weekend and incrementals every weekday. I changed around our backup scheme recently to make it a bit more fault tolerant, most notably redirecting each backup to it's own storage.

My company has a Windows 2008 Standard SP2 server running Backup Exec 2014 with multiple servers running the remote agent on Windows Server 2003 Standard SP2 (as well as other OS's).

Snapshot & Agent Warnings
Not sure why this exists, but I backup a NAS device that does not load an agent nor does it allow snapshots, however Backup Exec will warn you about these exceptions no matter what. When I get a status report about my backup job, it frustrates me that I have to keep seeing these warnings messages even though they do not pertain to my backup job.
